We are actively recruiting qualified and experienced technicians for a long-term Oil & Gas maintenance contract in Kuala Belait (KB), Brunei Darussalam.

Available Positions & Daily Rates

Rotating Equipment Technician — USD 90 – 140 per day
Mechanical Technician — USD 90 – 120 per day
Instrument Technician — USD 90 – 120 per day
Electrician Technician — USD 90 – 120 per day

Location: Kuala Belait (KB), Brunei Project Type: Long-term Maintenance & Shutdown Support Work Rotation: Rotational basis (details will be discussed during interview)

Job Overview

We are seeking safety-oriented, hardworking, and technically strong candidates to support preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, shutdown activities, and daily operations of major oil & gas facilities in Brunei. Selected candidates will work with one of the reputable maintenance contractors in the country.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Rotating Equipment Technician (USD 90 – 140/day)

Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, etc.).
Knowledge of alignment, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in oil & gas industry.
Relevant technical certification preferred.

2. Mechanical Technician (USD 90 – 120/day)

Proficient in static and rotating mechanical equipment maintenance.
Experience with piping, valves, heat exchangers, vessels, and structural repairs.
Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting, precision tools, and safety procedures.
Minimum 5+ years in oil & gas maintenance.

3. Instrument Technician (USD 90 – 120/day)

Expertise in calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of field instruments, transmitters, control valves, DCS, and PLC systems.
Experience with loop checking, functional testing, and shutdown systems.
Minimum 5+ years relevant experience.

4. Electrician Technician (USD 90 – 120/day)

Skilled in HV/LV electrical systems, motors, switchgear, generators, and lighting systems.
Experience in hazardous area (Ex) equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Minimum 5+ years in oil & gas sector.

General Requirements (All Positions)

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas (Upstream/Offshore preferred)
Diploma or Certificate in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation)
Valid BOSIET / H2S / Medical Certificate is a big advantage
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Physically fit and able to work in offshore/onshore environment
Strong commitment to HSE policies and procedures
Age preferably below 45 years
